> ARRIVING BY MAINLINE RAILWAY OVERGROUND AND/OR BY TUBE/SUBWAY UNDERGROUND

CRE_Digital_Education_Marketing_London_Telephone_IMG_6354_300_200The IBIS London Earls Court hotel is just 5 minute walk from West Brompton is a Network Rail (overground) West London Line (WLL) and London underground (Tube/Subway) District Line station in west London.

On the WLL, National Rail overground train services are provided by Southern and London Overground. The station is between Kensington (Olympia) and Imperial Wharf stations.

The station is on the Wimbledon branch of the District underground line between Earl’s Court and Fulham Broadway underground stations.

On exiting the station you should see the Earls Court Exhibition Centre infront of you. Turn left and walk away from the station (and the exhibition centre) along the Old Brompton road. You should soon see the IBIS ahead of you on the left (look up!). It is no more than a 5 minute walk to the IBIS.

Alternatively, the IBIS is 10-15 minute walk from Earl’s Court underground Station, served by the District and Piccadilly lines. (The station is the major junction of the District Line.) Please check a map for the walking route or get a taxi.

> ARRIVING BY CAR

It is possible to arrive by car and park in the IBIS London Earls Court hotel’s own car park.

There are 114 car spaces. It is not possible to book a space, availability is dependent on demand.

The charge for the car park is £12 for up to 9 hours and £17.00 for each period of 24 hours. (This is the hotel’s preferential resident rate which is also available to conference delegates and exhibitors.)

If parking is not available in the hotel car park we suggest parking temporarily in a loading bay and asking at Reception about alternative car parks nearby.

However it would be better to arrive with knowledge of alternative options – one possibility is the car parking available at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, depending on availability: http://www.eco.co.uk/p/parking/173

IBIS_London_Earls_Court_hotel_entranceThe IBIS London Earls Court Hotel is located outside the Congestion Charging Zone (but you may incur the Congestion Charge if you drive through Central London, for more information see the website: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/congestioncharging/)

> ARRIVING BY TAXI

London’s black taxi cabs have a light on the front displaying the word ‘TAXI’ and can be hailed in the street.

Taxis can also be booked (see: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/taxisandminicabs/taxis/1136.aspx).

Travelling by taxi can be expensive and may be slow depending on the level of congestion (especially slow during commuter hours).
