DEVELOPING & MAINTAINING A WINNING WEB PRESENCE

The foundation stone for your digital marketing is your website. It should serve as the hub for all your online communications activity.

You control and own it (unlike third party platforms like Facebook and Twitter) and the majority of your marketing and communications activities should drive traffic to it.

Your web presence therefore deserves (and demands) your attention and continuous investment, to address a range of key performance issues including:

    Click_Recruit_Enrol_Digital_Knowhow_Delegates_Alastair_2013_v2_00000524

  • How effective is your website in attracting and engaging your target audiences, including prospective, current and former pupils/students and parents and grandparents, agents, feeder schools, current and future staff and members of the local community?
  • Is the content appropriate, informative, topical and search engine optimised?
  • Is your website user-friendly and intuitive, easy to navigate and interactive?
  • Does the design and content reflect, convey and reinforce your institution’s identity, ethos and mission?
  • Does your website adhere to best practice for User Experience (UX), usability, navigation and functionality?
  • Is Social Media integrated effectively into your website and are you utilising blogging?
  • How well does your website encourage visitors to make contact, through “calls to action” etc.
    OMTAC_CRE_Conference_Matthew_DArcy_IMG_8176

  • Is the ‘Content Management System’ (CMS) easy to use, accessible, adaptive and does it allow user management and control.
  • What website development and management resources are available to you and at what cost?
  • When and how should you use people internally and/or externally to contribute their skills and effort to maximum benefit for the website, whether seeking internal contributors and collaborator and/or using external web development agencies, freelancers etc?
  • How do you measure, analyse and review your website’s effectiveness and improve your conversion rates (based on different criteria, such as visitor numbers vs enrolments)?

Whether you are considering developing a new website, redeveloping an existing website or concerned with the day-to-day management, maintenance and analysis of your current web presence… this conference will address key questions, ideas and trends, tools, tips and techniques to help you and your colleagues to attract, recruit and enrol prospective pupils/students.

Click_Recruit_Enrol_Digital_Knowhow_Delegates_Raja_2013_v2_00000450We have therefore developed this inexpensive, practical 1 day Conference programme packed with insights, tips and techniques to provide all those in Education & Training who are responsible for pupil/student recruitment and admissions with the knowhow they need to attract the pupils/students (and key influencers) necessary to meet and exceed their enrolment goals.

Book now to secure your place(s) and to benefit from the ‘Early Bird’ and ‘Multiple Booking’ discounts. (Please click on the following link to move to the ‘How To Book’ section of this web page.)

> A WORD ABOUT OUR CONFERENCES…

We have developed this conference based on our experience over the last 15 years providing digital education marketing and admissions services and training, and building on the recent success of our ‘Digital Knowhow’ Conference in June 2013 (featuring speakers from Google, Facebook, Mumsnet, Hootsuite, The Student Room, BBC Worldwide etc).

Click_Recruit_Enrol_Digital_Knowhow_Delegates_Harry_2013_v2_00000417While ‘Digital Knowhow’ featured general presentations and information from the dominant search engines, networks and platforms, this Conference will address the need for specific, practical “how to” guides, advice and ideas with relevant examples and case studies… provided by experienced practitioners who understand the needs of the Education & Training sector.

We pay our speakers and workshop facilitators. We don’t rely on representatives from suppliers speaking on a “no fee” basis to use their presentation to sell their services.

We are as frustrated as you at the many conferences and other events we have paid to attend only to be subjected to one long sales pitch.

Suppliers have a vital role to play in pupil/student recruitment and admissions, but at our conferences they support the programme content as Sponsors & Exhibitors, rather than provide it. (Occasionally when suppliers are best placed to present on a particular topic, or their services or products are of special interest, we may invite them to speak but will ask them to refrain from selling.)

“We know your time and resources are scarce. Our mission is to give you the best “value for money” experience we can… with the emphasis on learning, networking and personal and professional development. When you get home from one of our conferences you should know more, understand more and be ready to achieve more.” Matthew D’Arcy, Conference Director (Click-Recruit-Enrol)
