
Alastair Cotterill is fascinated in how technology is shaping society, culture and
business and has spent the past 12+ years working in this space from a variety of perspectives.
Currently, Alastair is a Creative Strategist in the Global Creative Solutions group at Facebook, helping brands design and build solutions on the platform.
Prior to joining Facebook Alastair set up and ran Mindshare’s digital creative offering, managing a team of strategists, analysts, creatives and producers delivering programs for brands such as Ford, Nike, HSBC, IBM and Unilever. Before this he led award-winning work from various account, planning and production roles at Dare (Campaign’s Digital Agency of the Decade) and DLKW.
Before getting into the world of advertising Alastair was part of a four-man team who launched TheITJobBoard.com.
Responsible for design, UX and marketing, Alastair taught himself the fundamentals of user design and performance marketing, helping take the site from conception to +25% market share.
Growing frustrated with the elitism of the art world Alastair helped set up ArtWednesday.com and is currently connecting people with artists through his ColorFeed page on Facebook.
